The safety and well-being of our guests, their families and our team is incredibly important to us. We are continually reviewing our hygiene arrangements and likewise ask our guests to be considerate in their approach to matters of hygiene for their and our safety.
Our Clean and Safe Charter means that we follow government cleaning advice for non-healthcare environments. In all spaces, high touch hard surfaces will be regularly cleaned disinfected, and all linen will be washed at the hottest water setting before a guest’s arrival.
Check-in times may sometimes be delayed to allow increased time for cleaning between stays, at all times following government hygiene guidelines for UK businesses. In this endeavour we provide a 'self-check-in' for guests on arrival using a key safe, and practise social distancing during stays. All group spaces or shared facilities are set up so that guests can socially distance easily. We also have measures in place to allow our guests to practise good hygiene throughout their stay with us. We amply stock the necessary disinfectant, cleaning supplies, hand sanitisers and soap, and where possible provide other measures to reduce risk. Our housekeeping team will wear the recommended PPE during servicing, and there will be no mid-stay cleaning available during your stay. Prior to arrival guests will be asked if they have any COVID symptoms, and guests with symptoms or self-isolating will be asked to visit us at a future date. Unfortunately non-residents will be unable to visit during your stay. A risk assessment has been carried out by our team, and on arrival you will find a cleaning check-list to give assurances that you stay will be safe and comfortable. Anti-viral products will be used to disinfect and sanitise surfaces and heavy-use items. And our housekeepers will work within the government's 'Covid Secure' guidelines. On the day of departure we ask guests to strip the bed and gather used bedding, linen and towels and place them into the laundry bags provided.
